nder the permission of the Ministry of Defense and the Coordinating Committee on Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center, on November 30th, 2017, in Hanoi, Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center held a scientific conference entitled "Tropical Ecology" - Some scientific and practical issues” to celebrate 30 years of establishment of the Center (March 7th, 1988 - March 7th, 2018) .
On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of its founding, with the aim of promoting scientific exchanges, strengthening cooperation, and enhancing promotion of science and technology (S&T) activities towards tropical durability (TD), on October 31st, in Hanoi, Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center held a scientific conference entitled “Practice on Tropical Durability of Weapons and Military Technical Equipment (WMTE)”.
Implementing the Resolution of the Coordinating Committee on Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center and the Directive of the Center's Co-Directors General, the Southern Branch chaired and organized the Ecology and Biodiversity Training Course for Young Scientists entitled "Ecology and Biodiversity of Tropical Forest Ecosystems in Vietnam".
On September 13th, 2016, in Hanoi, Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center, in collaboration with the Russian Center for Science and Culture, held a workshop on the new method and technology for cancer treatment of BEBIG Co.,Ltd - Russian Federation.
