GENERAL INFORMATION
The Training Department was established in 2007. With over 20 training programs completed, the department has accumulated extensive experience in managing and delivering Russian language instruction, achieving level 3 proficiency (equivalent to international B1). This expertise has made the Center a reputable and high-quality Russian language training institution within the military academy and school system.
Currently, the Department has a team of experienced, dedicated, and passionate instructors with strong professional qualifications, who regularly participate in advanced training courses both domestically and internationally. The faculty is fully capable of delivering Russian language training up to the B1 international standard. Additionally, the Department is equipped with modern, comprehensive facilities and lecture halls, providing excellent support for both teaching and learning activities.
FUNCTIONS
As a department of the Center, its functions are to assist the General Director in managing and organizing Russian language training courses for military personnel.
DUTIES
- Advise the Standing Committee and the Center's Board of Directors on the content, programs, and objectives of Russian language courses for different target groups.
- Develop training programs ensuring content, schedule, and duration in accordance with the framework curriculum and organize the teaching.
- Organize courses according to assigned targets, ensuring objectives, timelines, and quality.
- Manage learners according to military regulations, statutes, and the rules and regulations of the Center. Coordinate with relevant agencies and units to ensure proper living conditions, facilities, and mental well-being for learners in accordance with prescribed regimes.
- Research and develop training programs and reference materials; innovate and enhance teaching methods.
- Organize and implement political, ideological, ethical, and lifestyle education for instructors, staff, and learners; enhance the professional and operational skills of instructors and staff of the department.
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Heads of the Center.
RESULTS AND REWARDS
*Results
- The Department has conducted nearly 30 Russian language training courses for military personnel, with over 1,200 participants.
-  Annually, in collaboration with the Pushkin Institute, organized training courses and international B1 certification exams for its learners (nearly 300 of them achieved the international B1 certification).
*Rewards
- Received numerous commendations and certificates of merit from the Minister of National Defense and the Head of the Department of Schools/General Staff of the Vietnam People's Army.
- Achieved the title of "Determined-to-Win Unit" in 2017, 2019, 2020, 2021, and 2023.
- Achieved the title of "Advanced Unit" in 2015, 2016, and 2018.
