Journal

Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center’s Tropical Science and Technology Journal is a multidisciplinary journal (chemistry and materials, biology and biomedicine) published since 2012 under the License of Press Operation No.1479/GP-BTTTT issued on August 20th, 2012 by the Minister of Information and Communications and International Standard Code ISSN 0866-7535 issued by the National Agency for Science and Technology Information, Ministry of Science and Technology.

The Journal publishes scientific and technological research findings of scientists inside and outside the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center to promote scientific research, application, and technology transfer for sustainable development of the Center and the country. The Journal accepts articles announcing research findings and results of scientific and practical values in the science and technology fields, including: chemistry and materials, ecology, environment, medicine, and biotechnology that have not been published nationally and internationally.

The Editorial Board of Tropical Science and Technology Journal is composed of  experts with high scientific prestige from prestigious domestic and international research institutes. 

Thanks to the efforts of the leaders of the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center and the Editorial Board, the quality of articles and bulletins of the Journal has been increasingly improved. Currently, it has been included in the list of specialized scientific journals by the State Council for Professor Titles with conversion scores for scientific works in evaluation for recognition of professor and associate professor titles of Biology (since 2016), Chemistry and food technology (since 2019), and Medicine (since 2020).

The Journal is distributed throughout the country and articles are published in full texts on the website: www.vrtc.org.vn. Each article must go through at least two strict rounds of independent and anonymous review and edition of Vietnamese, English, and Russian languages. All articles (including Vietnamese, Russian, and English) published by the Journal are structured and presented in accordance with international standards and practices. It has attracted scientific announcements of multiple researchers of the Center and those at home and abroad to create a serious and reliable academic forum.

The Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center's Tropical Science and Technology Journal has actively contributed to promoting new scientific and technological information from research inside and outside the Center to readers and scientists, significantly enhancing the prestige of the Center and Vietnamese scientists, and gradually integrating into the national and international journal system.
