Material development laboratory

Head of Laboratory: Dr. Ha Ngoc Thien

The predecessor of the Material development laboratory is the Research Laboratory of Protective Substances/Sub-Institute of Tropical Durability, which has been in operation since 1992.

MAIN RESEARCH DIRECTIONS

- Researching and manufacturing materials to preserve and protect weapons and military technical equipment such as preservative oils, greases, paints, glues, specialized liquids, additives, evaporative corrosion inhibitors, etc…

- Researching, synthesizing and producing specific military products, for example, samples of toxic chemicals; firebending; propellants and explosives additives; material that absorbs sound waves; air regenerative materials; combustibles, gas filter, gas masks; colored smoke box...

- Organic synthesis of raw materials for the manufacture of chemical and pharmaceutical products and other products.
