Research and testing stations
For over 30 years, in the field of Tropical materials science, the Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center has been a pioneering unit in research and natural testing activities of various materials and protective methods. It has conducted tests on hundreds of material types with tens of thousands of samples to serve both defense and civilian purposes. To support this research direction, the Center has gradually invested in infrastructure and facilities, establishing modern Research and Testing Stations according to international standards. Currently, the Center has 03 research and testing stations built to GOST standards, recognized for testing capabilities according to ISO/IEC 17025:2017. These stations are located in 3 regions of the country, ensuring diverse testing conditions of different tropical climate zones across Vietnam's territory.
HOA LAC NATURAL TESTING STATION
Location: Thach That district, suburban Hanoi, 96km from the coast.
Hoa Lac Natural Testing Station, a part of the Tropical Durability Institute/VRTC, specializes in research and testing of various materials. The station features a climate characteristic of the North Central Highlands region of Northern Vietnam.
