Deputy Minister of National Defense Hoang Xuan Chien sending New Year greetings to Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center

On the occasion of the new year and the Vietnamese Lunar New Year 2024, Deputy Minister of National Defense, Senior Lieutenant General Hoang Xuan Chien sent a letter of New Year greetings to all scientists, officers, professional servicemen, enlisted soldiers, defense workers, and staff members of both Vietnam and the Russian Federation at the Vietnam - Russia Tropical Center (VRTC).

In the letter, on behalf of the Leaders of the Ministry of National Defense, the Co-Chairman of the Coordinating Committee for Vietnam-Russia Tropical Center, and the Chairman of the Vietnam Subcommittee, he expressed his best wishes for the new year to all of the members of VRTC.

He evaluated that, in 2023, despite facing many difficulties and challenges, the Vietnamese and Russian staff of VRTC have made many efforts to overcome difficulties and actively, proactively deploy and complete the Science and Technology Research Plan, build facilities, train staff, and obtain results of theoretical and practical significance. Several important tasks to develop the Center have been implemented progressively and have achieved positive initial results.

He believed that, in 2024, even though there will still be predicted difficulties and challenges, with the attention of the senior leaders of the two countries, under the direct leadership and direction of the two Sub-committees of the Coordinating Committee, and with the staff efforts, the Center will successfully fulfill all assigned missions, creating favorable momentum for the Center to enter a new stage of development, making many contributions for science and technology, socio-economic development of the two countries, and at the same time contributing to fostering the good and friendly traditional relations in the spirit of the comprehensive strategic partnership between Vietnam and Russia.

At the end of the letter, Sen. Lt. Gen. Hoang Xuan Chien wished all of the members of VRTC good health, happiness, and excellent completion of all assigned tasks. On this occasion, he expressed his cordial greetings to generations of staff of Vietnam and the Russian Federation, to their families, and to those who used to and are still working at VRTC. He also wished all of the Russian friends a happy Tet in the beautiful and hospitable Vietnam.
